Story: Inspired by Coffeyville's Death Alley, the Defenders, and the Dalton Gang's last stand.

"Try That in a Small Town"

On October 5, 1892, the Dalton Gang tried to rob two banks in Coffeyville, Kansas, simultaneously. The gang was made up of Grat, Bob and Emmett Dalton; Bill Power and Dick Broadwell. As the gang crossed the plaza to enter the two banks, the Daltons were recognized by townspeople, who raised the alarm. Citizens armed themselves with weapons from nearby hardware stores and were ready for the gang when they tried to leave the banks.

In the ensuing gun battle, eight men died and four were wounded. Grat and Bob Dalton, Bill Power and Dick Broadwell were killed. Emmett was severely wounded.

Best Coffee Ever!

This is the best coffee I have ever had, and I have been drinking coffee a long time. It is very smooth, no bitter aftertaste, and has deep, lingering earthy undertones. My original favorite was the Wayward Son, but then I tried this. Wayward son is a nice coffee, but doesn't carry the same depth of flavor. I evidently prefer the beans from Mexico since these two are my favs. My husband has never cared for coffee, but he has started drinking it since I started brewing the Death Alley.

Thank you for the 5 star review! We appreciate you!!!
